PUBLIC ART
& Place-Making
Art that belongs to a place.
The most meaningful public art does more than decorate a wall.
It tells stories.
It reflects identity.
It creates belonging.
It becomes part of the landscape and the memory of a community.
Over the past decade I have worked with councils, schools, businesses and communities to create murals, collaborative artworks and public creative projects that celebrate the places people call home.
Each project begins with listening.
To the land.
To the people.
To the stories already present.
Only then does the artwork begin to emerge.

Why Public Art Matters
Public art creates more than beautiful places.
It strengthens identity.
It encourages conversation.
It reflects local culture.
It invites people to slow down, notice and connect.
The most successful public artworks become part of the story a place tells about itself.
